Payment of the booking fee to attend a Shooters Photography Workshop indicates your acceptance of the following terms and conditions:

Registration and Payment:

Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first served basis. Your place on a given workshop will be held once payment of the required deposit is received but may be given up to another student if payment of the full workshop fee is not received two week prior to the workshop. Once payment has been received, you will be sent email confirmation of receipt of your payment.

All images taken by participants carry ‘limited usage rights’ – this simply means you have permission to reproduce the images in print or online for portfolio use only. However this does not allow third parties to use the images and you may not at any time sell the images to third parties which includes any individual, organisation, stock libraries, magazines, etc for financial and or non-financial gain.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

Shooters Photography Workshops reserve the right to cancel or postpone workshops at any time before the workshop if minimum participant numbers are not achieved.

Full refunds of all monies paid will be made if a workshop is cancelled by us or if the workshop is rescheduled and you are unable to attend on the new date.

If you give up your workshop place more than four weeks prior to the workshop date, the workshop cost will be refunded less your initial deposit. Cancellation in the third or fourth week prior to the class forfeits the deposit plus 25% of the remainder of the fee. Cancellation in the second week prior to the class results in forfeiture of the deposit plus 50% of the remainder of the fee, and cancellations in the week prior to the class result in forfeiture of the entire class fee. In all cases, if we fill your position in the workshop after your cancellation, all monies paid (including the deposit) will be returned.

If the workshop is taking place outdoor and the weather forecast predicts rain for the day of the workshop leading up to the workshop, the workshop will be postponed – we will notify the participants by email and/or text message 24 hours prior to the start time {so around 12 noon the day before the workshop}. However, if it is raining on the morning of the workshop, we will make contact with you by mobile phone via either a text or phone call, so please ensure you have access to your mobile on the morning/day of the workshop.  We will also make an announcement on Facebook. If the weather is looking questionable on the morning of workshop, please make sure you keep your ear out for notifications. If on the morning of the workshop, you are unsure about the whether conditions, it is your responsibility to contact us to make sure the workshop is going ahead.

Shooters Photography Workshops is not responsible for any other costs which participants may have incurred, including but not limited to travel, car rental, parking fees, fines, lodging, insurance, photographic purchases and/or rentals.

Gift Vouchers – Conditions of Use

Gift vouchers for Shooters Photography Workshops are to be redeemed only for workshops and lessons that are offered through the Shooters Photography Workshops website, including small group workshops and 1-on-1 workshops. Gift vouchers are not redeemable for cash or payment credit and must be used by the expiry date printed on the voucher.

Gift vouchers may be used as part or full payment for a workshop or course on offer. Vouchers may be used against multiple workshops/courses if the amount on the voucher allows this. If workshop or course fees are more than the amount on the voucher, then the bearer of the voucher must pay the difference.

Workshop Schedule and Agenda:

All workshop schedules and plans are subject to change at our discretion depending upon weather, health and safety considerations, or any other factor related or unrelated to photographic opportunities as we see fit.

Liability Release:

Shooters Photography Workshops representatives, guest presenters and workshop assistants aim to provide every participant a safe, educational, and enjoyable experience. We assume no liability for any act, error, omission, injury, loss, delay, mishap, or damage to persons or property arising from any cause during the course of the workshop or in transit thereto. We can accept no responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delay or changes in the services to be provided. We reserve the right to change our arrangements should conditions necessitate, or to cancel any aspect of the workshop due to exceptional circumstances. In the event that we deem it necessary to cancel the workshop we will provide a full refund which the participants acknowledge as full and final settlement.

There is always an element of risk in any outdoor activity including, but not limited to, bodily injury, death, illness, loss or damage to personal property. By joining any workshop offered by Shooters Photography Workshops, participants acknowledge that they are aware of these risks and are physically capable of safely taking part in the workshop. Further, they release Shooters Photography Workshops representatives, guest presenters and workshop assistants from any liability. Shooters Photography workshops representatives, guest presenters and workshop assistants will assume no liability for injury, illness or loss of personal property or expenses associated with participation in a workshop.

Your Agreement to this Contract

In reserving a place on the workshop by paying the workshop fee, you are agreeing to accept all the above conditions. The person who makes the booking does so on behalf of all the individuals included, and all are bound by the booking conditions.
